SmartDataSystem is an IoT platform with pre-configured smart city kits and energy management tools that enable public and private organizations to keep tight control on their assets by centralizing field and business data, performing real-time monitoring tasks and generating complex data analytics and reporting.

SmartDataSystem has two specialized packages: Smart Village kits and Energy Management suite. More information can be found at .

Register Meshlium in the SmartDataSystem platform

In order to register Meshlium units, please contact the SmartDataSystem administrators or your service provider.

Configuration

To activate and configure the SmartDataSystem cloud connector on Meshlium's Manager System, go to:

Cloud Connector -> Basic Cloud Partner -> SmartDataSystem

Inside the SmartDataSystem plugin, there is a form to introduce your credentials to access the platform API. You have to enter here these parameters:

  • SmartDataSystem URL: Address of the API service. This address should be provided without the "http://". If not otherwise specified, it will be sentiloapi.smartdatasystem.es.

  • Connection Port: The port in which the API listens to connections. If not otherwise specified, it will be 8081.

  • SmartDataSystem Provider: The provider is the identity of who is sending data to the platform.

  • SmartDataSystem Key: The security key to send data to the platform.

This data will be provided by SmartDataSystem administrators or your service provider.

Click on the "Save" button for storing the configuration fields.

Controlling synchronization

The synchronization will be done in packs of 100 data at a time, so the system is not overloaded. You can start and stop the synchronization of the data to the SmartDataSystem service. In the interface, you can see an indicator of whether the SmartDataSystem service is running or not. If you click on "Start", the synchronization will begin.

You can stop the SmartDataSystem plugin anytime clicking on the "Stop" button.
